Frequently Asked Questions

What is your lead time/delivery date?

Blank signs are usually dispatched within 48 hours if ordered on a work day. Customised signs are usually dispatched in 10 - 15 business days. If you add a product to your basket and go to the checkout page an expected delivery date is shown at checkout.

 

Are all your products/signs in stock?

Yes all our signs are in-stock unless stated differently on the product listing

 

Can we see what the sign will look like before we pay?

An artwork/proof will be sent to you to approve after your purchase and we won't start producing your sign until have signed off the proof.

Are your lightboxes freestanding or wall mounted?

We provide little picture hooks attached on the rear so they can be wall mounted, equally they are fine to stand alone on a shelf or the floor.

What colour temperature are your LEDs?

Generally the LEDs we use are around 4-5000K, what we call a 'neutral white', so they are neither warm white or cool white, somewhere between the two.

Please can you confirm that we are able to have a different design on each side?

Yes our system allows you to upload two different artwork files.

Are your prints weather proof?

Yes we use high quality adhesive vinyl.

If I wanted a light box on the shop sign would I need planning permission?

Do other shops on your road have similar illuminated signs? Then it should be absolutely fine, but if in doubt you should speak to your local council, sometimes they have documents on their website explaining what is allowed and what isn’t. If you are in a historic area or a conservation area it may not be allowed.

Can I get this item made in a different colour?

Yes nearly all our products can have the colour changed. Please click here to add a custom colour to any of our products.

I need some help with the design/artwork.

If you would need help with the design you can purchase artworking hours here. If you are not sure how many hours to select please email: sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com and the team can advise you. Please include as much detail as possible.

Do you offer discount for trade or bulk orders?

Our best prices are always displayed on our website. 

What is not covered by your 1 year warranty?

Here’s a few examples of what we do not cover:
Accidental damage (damage caused by a collision, dropping or similar)
Wear and tear
Damage from corrosion
Abuse

Can you check my design?

Can you match a colour for me?

We will always try our best to match colours for customers but it is almost impossible get exact colour matches.

Can I include a QR code on my design?

Yes, we normally print QR cades on clear vinyl.

Can I speak to someone on the telephone?

We are online only, however you can contact us on the online chat or you can email sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com and the team will get back to you.

I've seen a hanging sign or light box I like but I need it in a different size?

We can sometimes do custom sizes for projecting signs and light boxes, but please note this will incur a longer lead time and a surchage, if you would like a quote please email sales@goodwinandgoodwin.com and the team will get back to you.
